Outfit of the Day- Comfy Mama Bear

Today is a dreary day. Always dressing like a duchess is not always as practical as I would like it to be. So, I decided to opt for an outfit that is comfortable rather than stylish. Today is also another stay at home with my Little and blog day since my Hubby had plans to go out and relax with a friend. The thing I most want to share with you about the outfit is the t-shirt. I originally bought the t-shirt from a “deal of the day” type online store and was skeptical as to the quality of the shirt (and because I typically think graphic tees are better left to teenagers, not moms). I was expecting something that you could just run out and grab at Wall-e-world because let us be real, you never know what you are going get when ordering online. When I ended up receiving this, I was super impressed by the quality and feel of this shirt that I actually bought several more from the company for my loungewear! I highly recommend them! Anyway, this is the “look” I opt for when I want just one step above pajamas. Do you have a look like that? What is your go-to lounge look?

I do not know about you, but I tend to love classic, sophisticated dresses and a good pair of heels. But a busy mom, I need clothes that are both cute and functional. One of my favorite places to draw inspiration and replikate would be none other than the Duchess herself, Kate Middleton. She’s known for her timeless and practical pieces. She’s also a mom of two (soon to be three!) too. Who better to draw inspiration from than a fellow mom?

How does fashion tie into marginal living? One of the priorities I established when deciding to live marginally, was the need to take care of myself. I realized that when I’m not at my best, my family is not at their best. When I do take extra time and throw together an outfit, I know I feel just a little boost of confidence throughout the day.  And who doesn’t need a boost of that?

Until Later My Friends,
